Multi-application i4 Tray Sealer

The i4 tray sealer from MPE UK Ltd is aimed primarily at the red meat market, and is also suitable for a variety of applications, including fresh produce and ready meals.

Designed to replace the popular i2, the MPE i4 tray sealer has the same class-leading characteristics of its predecessors, but with significant upgrades. It’s fully automatic, built with top-spec materials, and a class-leading feature is its ability to be quickly expanded or upsized with the same components as the i3 tray sealer.

We’ve tapped into our extensive heat sealing machinery experience to create this simple, reliable and efficient piece of machinery. The i4, developed and manufactured here in the UK, can be made bespoke to your exact requirements. It boasts high throughput technology – sealing up to 100 packs per minute – and can run larger format trays than its main competitors.

Quick and easy tool changes, rapid changeover between tray sizes, and maintenance-friendly construction reduces your downtime to a minimum, enabling speedy processing of lines such as joints, lamb, pork and sausages. It has five-tray sealing capacity at 200mm and is perfect for the catering trade and soft fruit growers.

But this machine’s versatility doesn’t end there. It extends to ready meals with the full range of packing materials, including PET, polypropylene, PVC, styrene, board, paper and smooth wall foil containers. MAP comes as standard, and it’s all-electric.
